The most importance thing in your life if you are to achieve your goals is discipline. All the crap that we buy, cars, jet skies, and such aren't worth shit without discipline. These toys we play with, these desires we hold dear are menacing to say the very least. Discipline will always be the touchstone in life that will carry you through all the crap it has to throw at you. Every single time I walk into the gym I see guys just going though the motions and never achieving a damn thing. Each and every time you talk to them they have a new life changing philosophy thats going to carry them through to some form of personal utopia. What a load of bullshit! The reason for this is because most of these guys and gals(I haven't forgotten about you ladies either) lack the discipline and motivation to get their ass out of that chair and out of the house and put some meaning to their existence. A long time ago I was listening to Bill Kazmier talking and he said you need one thing to reach you goals. It all boiled down to this little phrase - Conceive It, Believe It, Achieve It. Conceive It - This means you have a working knowledge of what its you desire. Believe It - This means you need a clear cut vision of what your goal really is. Achieve It - The motivation to put your knowledge to work, and the discipline to drag your ass through to the finish line.

The biggest enemy of your goals is a lack of discipline or inefficiency. Inefficiency in any part of your life is a damaging factor. If you are inefficient at work, that carries over to your home life. Your home life effect just about every part of your life and that includes the gym. Inefficiency is one of the biggest reasons for people joining gyms and never seeing the progress that they desire. It not that they have bad genetics, thats a load of bullshit. It's the discipline and drive that is needed to achieve these goals thats eroded away bit by bit with small inefficiencies on a daily basis that ultimately leads to just wasted time! No one should be wasting time, we don't get that shit back! Below is a list of what I believe are the most egregious workout inefficiencies that you should eliminate immediately to get your training back on the road toward progression not regression

  1. Not focusing on your warm up sets
  2. Going through the motions, talking to your buddies, chasing ass./li>
  3. Going out all nigh and expecting to get in a good workout.
  4. Skipping meals - Hell I eat meal on time every time and I work as a salesman
  5. Having only four meal a day when you say you want to get big. There are 24hrs in a day eat like it!
  6. Having no idea of what your eating! Eat good food - It cost Less and you can eat more of IT!
  7. Relying on supplements way to much! Look up above ↑ EAT SOME DAMN FOOD!
  8. Listing to the mags - You are not going to gain 10lbs of muscle in a fucking month!
  9. Inconsistent workout times - The body likes consistency when it come to when you workout, alway try to be in the gym every training day around the same time.
  10. You forgot your initial desire - Life side tracks everyone, the faster you get back on track the faster you reach your goals.

Thats it! There are know damn magic pills or routines. Efficiency is the only thing needed!
